I thought I had forgiven them. So why am I still angry?

Have you ever wondered that?

Forgiveness isn't always a one-time decision followed by instant peace.

Sometimes there are layers to work through.

Sometimes we need to understand what forgiveness is—and what it isn't.

Sometimes we need to recognize the resentment we're carrying before we can begin releasing it.

And sometimes we need to learn how to forgive without pretending the hurt didn't matter.

Freedom is possible.

The Power of Forgiveness Group begins September 14 at Arthur Southern Baptist Church.

Forgiveness doesn't mean pretending it didn't happen. It doesn't mean trusting someone who isn't safe. And it doesn't mean saying what happened was okay.

The Power of Forgiveness is a 10-session journey toward freedom, peace, and renewal in Christ.

The class will meet at 6:00pm at the Arthur Southern Baptist Church starting on Sept 14 and will run for 10 weeks. It's free, and it's life-changing.

Over 10 weeks, we'll explore what biblical forgiveness really is, what it isn't, and how to begin moving from resentment toward freedom and peace in Christ.
