It has been an absolutely wild year with too many ups and downs. We have all been through some difficult times, but we are still here and we are ready to race. We are working hard to put on another great race for the NMRC and all of our riders. Please come join us for the last race of the season and a fast fun desert race weekend.

Unfortunately it looks like the flooding was too much for the track in Gallup. Red Rock Motorsports had to make the hard decision to cancel the race and reschedule, date pending. Hopefully they can get it back on the schedule soon.

Sipapu/FR76 2026 Day 3

06/20/2026

Day two was an absolute blast. 606 clipped a down tree at high speed and departed the trail, but hey that dirtbikin! Tomorrow will be another great day of riding.

Day one was hit and miss. We had a good rider take an awkward fall and have to pull out. But hey, that’s dirtbiking. We knocked down some miles and had a blast.

The evolution of access in the Caja del Rio is a stark reminder of why motorized advocacy matters. These three maps highlight the shifting landscape of our public lands:

USFS Route Inventory: A look at the extensive network of trails that were open prior to Travel Management.

Current MVUM: The significantly reduced number of legal routes currently available to the OHV community.

Caja Del Rio Protection Act: A potential future where existing access could be further restricted or permanently altered.

As the New Mexico Off Highway Vehicle Alliance, we remain committed to protecting motorized access and promoting responsible stewardship. Stay informed and stay involved—your access depends on it.
