Maybe your lack of patience is not really about slow people, long lines, or frustrating delays. Maybe it is revealing how little room we have left for God to interrupt us.

Jesus was never hurried, even when everyone around Him thought the moment was urgent. He had the margin to notice people, love people, and obey the Father fully.

This week, ask God to slow the pace of your heart, help you see His hand in the delay, and grow patience in you that blesses the people around you.

God is still changing hearts, and we get to see it happen every Sunday. People walk in carrying stress, questions, guilt, grief, or just the weight of another long week, and God meets them right where they are. You don't have to clean yourself up before you come.

You don't have to know all the right words or have everything figured out. Just show up, and let God do what only He can do.

Before we try to fix everybody else, God wants to work on our own hearts. He wants to shape the way we talk, the way we love, the way we forgive, and the way we treat people who do not have it all together. Jesus did not change lives by standing far away from broken people. He sat with them, loved them, and showed them a better way.

Maybe the question for us today is simple. Are people seeing Jesus in how we live, or just hearing what we think is wrong with the world?

Life has a way of taking turns we did not pray for, through relationships that break, prayers that feel unanswered, and wounds that take longer to heal than we hoped. The enemy would love to turn those places into bitterness, but Jesus invites us to bring them to the cross, where pain can be processed without becoming our identity.

The empty tomb reminds us that what feels final is not always finished, and the love of the Father gives us a foundation that does not shift when life does. Your story is not defined by what fell apart. It is anchored in the One who held you together.

Just like how a single drop of food coloring can change a whole glass of water, that's what prayer can do for your day. Just five minutes with God can bring peace, slow your mind down, and remind you that you are not carrying everything alone. You don't have to have the perfect words. Just talk to Him right where you are.

Pray this with me today:

God, thank You for loving me today. Thank You for not giving up on me, even when life has been messy. Help me see the good around me, trust You with what I cannot fix, and walk through today with a thankful heart. Amen.

A loving parent does not give a child candy for breakfast just because the child is convinced it would make them happy, and our Father loves us too much to hand us something that feels good today but could damage what He is building in us for tomorrow.

Sometimes the easy season weakens our dependence on Him, and sometimes the thing that looks like success starts feeding pride instead of faith.

Today, we pause with grateful hearts for the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us that freedom is never something to take lightly, and honor is shown not only in what we say, but in how we live with gratitude, humility, and love for one another.

May we remember their courage, pray for the families who carry their legacy, and thank God for the blessings we have been given.
