Days like today remind us why we do what we do.

Peyton’s Promise Pop-Up Pantry was filled with helping hands, grateful hearts, and beautiful weather.

We were blessed with several amazing volunteers who showed up ready to serve, and together we were able to make a difference for families in our community.

Moments like these are what Peyton’s Promise is all about — neighbors helping neighbors.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered, supported, and helped make today so special. We are so grateful for this community.

Is today the day your family grows?

You may have seen our cute adoption promo posted an hour ago. We’ve deleted it. The situation at BARCS has drastically changed in the past few hours. We are now negative dog space. More than 100 animals have come in over the past 48 hours, with 60 of those arriving since last night. The majority are dogs, which are much harder to move around and house safely. Animal Control is on the way with another truck full.

Our kennels are full. Our intake temp kennels are full. Our offices are full. There is no more place to put our dogs. We are in crisis. And it’s terrible timing for a Friday night. Without getting too in the weeds, social media engagement sucks on Fridays.

We need a full adoption lobby tomorrow morning when we open at 11AM, or we are going to have to make heartbreaking choices for space. Our biggest need is adoption and/or fostering of big dogs. Fees are waived for all animals through 3/1.

Not able to drive to Baltimore? We will also be at Petco Timonium from 12–4PM tomorrow hosting an adoption event.

Full bellies and happy tails — that’s what today was all about! 🐶🐱

Peyton’s Promise joined forces with North Glen Community Church and Kid Changemakers to help local families with food, diapers, and pet food. Because caring for people means caring for their whole family — paws included! 🐾

At the Pop-Up Pantry, we saw grateful smiles, and the kind of love that only pets can bring. For families facing tough times, knowing their furry companions will have full bellies takes away one more worry.

Every scoop of kibble, every bag of food, is more than just a meal — it’s comfort, companionship, and unconditional love kept strong. 🐶🐱

We are so humbled to be recognized by Severna Park Voice as Volunteers of the Month with Peyton’s Promise 💙🐾. What an honor it is to be recognized for doing something that honors the life and memory of our sweet boy Peyton.

Our hearts are always with Peyton, and being part of this mission allows us to spread his spirit in a way that touches lives—both two-legged and four-legged. Every full bowl and wagging tail is a reminder of why this work matters so much.
