It's moving day! ❄
The time has come to say adieu to this page and make the switch to the new one. Starting TOMORROW (1/1/25) we will officially have moved to for all future posts and updates about all things Big Trees.
Although we have no plans to remove this page, we will not be monitoring it going forward. Please direct any questions or comments to the new page.

New Year, New page 🥳
With all that's happened in the last year, some things have gotten lost in the fray. Unfortunately, some of those things were rather important for the upkeep of this page. With the New Year on the horizon, we've decided it's time to turn this old girl out to pasture and make the switch to a new page; we hope you'll come along for the ride!
As of January 1, 2025 we will officially have moved to on Facebook, and will not be posting on this page anymore. Although we will not be using this page after that date, we have no plans to delete or otherwise remove it from Facebook.

If you're anything like us, all this cold weather has you feeling the need for some cozy vibes. Lucky for you, we've got just the thing to fix that! ❄☕🔥
Starting next week, we will be hosting the Warming Hall in Jack Knight Hall once again! Join us December 26th thru January 1st from 12pm - 3pm every day for warm beverages and a cozy fire. This event is free to attend, but the park entry fee will still be required.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! ❄
As you you make plans for this holiday season, don't forget that even though the park will be open Christmas Day, the Visitor Center will not be.
Don't fret! The Center will be open every other day (including Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve/Day) from 10am to 4pm. Stay tuned to this page and Calaveras Big Trees State Park's page for any other park information, including closures and weather updates!

Happy International Students Day! 📚🧑‍🎓🌲
Calaveras Big Trees State Park offers a variety of programs for students of all ages, none of which would be possible without the generous support from the members, donors, and customers of the CBTA. Thanks to you, thousands of students every year get to visit this amazing place and learn about the giant sequoia groves that make this park special.
To all the students who've been inspired by our groves: thank you! You are the next generation of educators, scientists, and protectors of this fantastic ecosystem, and we're so excited to see that it'll be in good hands.
