Open to anyone — no age or location restrictions!

If you want to help Foster Together but need something that can fit around your schedule, our Auction Committee may be the perfect fit!

This team helps us build incredible silent auctions by reaching out to businesses, organizations, and community connections to secure donated items, gift cards, experiences, services, and packages.

Our Silent Auction Committee:
⭐Meets virtually once a month for a quick group touch-base, updates, and brainstorming
⭐ Reaches out to businesses and community contacts for donations
⭐ Tracks outreach, responses, and donations in a shared Google Sheet
⭐ Works together to brainstorm new businesses and creative auction packages
⭐ Focuses primarily on two major events each year — one in the spring and one in the fall

You do NOT have to attend our events or attend in-person meetings to be part of this committee. You can help from anywhere, and much of the outreach can be done on your own schedule.

Of course, if you want to join us at events or other Foster Together opportunities, we’d love to have you!

What a way to kick off a new school year! ❤️📚

This weekend, we hosted our 4th Annual Back to School Event, and it was such a fun day! We were able to help 69 children shop for backpacks and school supplies, making sure each one found the colors, styles, and items that felt just right for them. There's something so special about watching a child light up when they find their backpack.

Families also enjoyed breakfast together, made crafts, and spent time connecting before the school year begins. It's one of our favorite events because it's about so much more than school supplies. It's about helping children feel excited, prepared, and confident as they head into a new school year.

This year, we served children from 29 different ZIP codes across Missouri and Illinois and 20 different school districts, a reminder of just how many communities come together through Foster Together.

This event truly takes a village, and we're so thankful for everyone who helped make it happen.

A huge thank you to our amazing Back to School Committee for all of the planning and hard work behind the scenes. And a special thank you to Sarah Marie for bringing so much creativity and color to the day!

We're also incredibly grateful to our sponsors: Home State Health/Show Me Healthy Kids, FamilyForward, and Step By Step, for investing in this event and spending the day with our families.

A heartfelt thank you to SSM Health Physical Therapy and SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Pediatric Therapy for serving as our school supply donation drop-off locations this year.
