Big News! 🎉

What began first as Starling Road Baptist Church for over 50 years, then replanted as Exchange Church in Arnold is now officially Covenant Baptist Church at Arnold!

Over the last two years, we’ve walked together through the book of Genesis, and God reminded us again and again that a name means something.

From monuments named to remember God’s faithfulness…
to moments where God changed identities—like Abram to Abraham…
to countless stories where names carried purpose, promise, and calling…

We realized we had lost some of that understanding along the way.
After COVID hit our church hard, we found ourselves wrestling with who we were… and whose we were. God met us in that struggle.

He rebuilt us. He clarified our identity. And He reminded us: names matter because identity matters.

And now, as we step forward, we’re embracing that identity fully as Covenant Baptist Church at Arnold.

Covenant reminds us that we belong to a God who keeps His promises—always. It’s a word that points back to Scripture, to God’s unshakeable commitment to His people, and to our commitment to follow Him faithfully. It anchors us in identity, mission, and hope.

Going back to Baptist in our name connects us to our church history rooted in Scripture, discipleship, believer’s baptism, and the importance of the Gospel to save sinners.

Church centers us in community, calling, and Christ.

Put together, Covenant Baptist Church declares who we are:
A people defined by God’s promises, grounded in His Word, and united as His family.

This isn’t just a name change—it’s a restart with renewed purpose. Since our replant in 2019, God has been shaping us, grounding us, and calling us to take hold of our true identity in Christ. And now, we’re stepping confidently into that identity.

Same mission. Same heart. A fresh beginning rooted deeply in Jesus.
We’re excited for what God has in store, and we’d love for you to pray with us, join us, or simply celebrate this new chapter alongside us.

Our launch Sunday Service will be Easter Sunday, April 5th at 10:45am at 2384 Starling Airport Rd, Arnold MO 63010.

The best is ahead! 🙌
