Today, Gary and Ann personally delivered much-needed equipment to the Iron County Sheriff’s Department for their deputies.

Each deputy received a duty bag equipped with:
• Eye and ear protection
• Streamlight flashlight
• CPR mask
• Trauma kit
• Guardian Angel wearable safety light

These are more than just pieces of equipment. They are tools that can help protect our First Responders while they are protecting their communities.

And none of this happens without you.

We cannot stress enough how important your donations and continued support are to the Capt. David Dorn Foundation. Without our community standing beside us, we simply could not provide this vital equipment to First Responders and agencies that need it.

For many officers, equipment like this may otherwise come out of their own pockets—or they may have to go without it altogether.

Every First Responder has one goal at the end of their shift: to go home safely to their family.

Our Guardian Angel Light campaign is growing, and now we’re helping protect both ends of the leash! 🐕‍🦺🚔

🔵🔴 $69 outfits an officer with a Guardian Angel Light

🐾 $56 outfits a K9 with a complete Micro Light package — including the Micro Light, secure K9 clip, and safety tether.

These lights help increase visibility during nighttime searches, traffic scenes, wooded-area tracks, and other low-light situations.

A big thank you to Ann Dorn and the David Dorn Foundation for their generosity and continued support of law enforcement.

Ann recently visited the De Soto Police Department and donated 18 fully equipped duty bags for our officers, each containing a Streamlight flashlight, tourniquet, hearing protection, eye protection, first aid kit, and CPR mask. These are practical pieces of equipment our officers can carry with them and have available when they’re needed most.

What Ann is doing through the David Dorn Foundation goes well beyond donating equipment. She has taken the loss of Captain David Dorn and turned it into a mission to continue his legacy of taking care of first responders. The Foundation now provides equipment and other resources to first responders who otherwise may have to purchase these items themselves.

We are incredibly appreciative that Ann chose to include our officers in that mission, and we sincerely thank her for taking the time to visit with us and for everything the Foundation provided.
