Today marks the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001.

Twenty-five years ago, our nation changed forever. Thousands of innocent lives were lost, families were changed, and first responders, military members, and ordinary Americans showed the world what courage, sacrifice, and unity truly look like.

For those of us who served, 9/11 is more than a date on a calendar. It is a reminder of why we raised our right hand, why we protect this country, and why freedom should never be taken for granted.

Today, we remember the 2,977 innocent people who never made it home. We honor the firefighters, police officers, EMTs, military members, and countless heroes who ran toward danger while others ran away.

We remember the families who still carry that loss 25 years later.

And we remember a nation that, for a brief moment, stood together as one.

No matter our political differences. No matter where we come from. No matter what side of the aisle we’re on.

We are Americans.

🇺🇸 May we never forget the lives lost.
🇺🇸 May we never forget the sacrifices made.
🇺🇸 May we never forget what it means to stand united.

From Arnaudville to every corner of this great country — we remember.

September 11, 2001 — 25 Years Later. NEVER FORGOTTEN.
