The Armour Community Development Corporation recently set the third governors house in Armour! We are happy to have Gladis Topete as the resident! Along with that we have our fourth governors house on order. We received $35,000 from Bank West and Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines to be used towards our next governors home! We are very grateful for the generous donation and the hard work of Bank West and Caleb Clements who put in the work for us to receive the grant! Thank you! With that, if you know of anyone who is interested in a governors house, we need someone to fill our next house! We are also looking for the next lot to set it on as well! We’re proud to partner with Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines to support affordable housing in Armour! Through the Member Impact Fund, $35,000 in grant funding was awarded to the Armour South Dakota Industrial Development Corporation to help purchase a Governor’s Home for a qualifying family. This investment reflects our commitment to strengthening rural South Dakota communities and supporting local growth.

Erin Tobin, our former Senate representative for District 21, will be coming to our meeting tomorrow February 5th at 7:00am at the firehall. She is planning on running again for Senate Rep. and is seeing what is going on in her district. The meeting is open to the public, so anyone is welcome to attend!
