As we approach the end of the school year, we are incredibly proud to celebrate not one, but two outstanding AMS Students of the Month!

Brenna was recognized for the character trait of Cooperation for the month of March, and Caroline was recognized for Courage for the month of April.

Both Brenna and Caroline are 8th graders on the Pi-Gears team, where they make a tremendous impact. Brenna is a valued member of the Programming Subteam, and Caroline serves as the Business Subteam Lead. They also hold key roles on the drive team: Brenna as Drive Coach and Caroline as Driver.

These well-deserved recognitions are a true reflection of the contributions they make to the Pi-Gears team each and every day.

We are incredibly proud to recognize the academic achievements of the following 1718 Fighting Pi team members: Erika Goretski, Samuel McIntyre and Dane Poole. All three students were named to the 2026 Macomb County All-Academic Team. Team members are selected based on their GPA in core classes and their SAT scores. Additionally, Samuel McIntyre was also named to the Blue Water All-Academic Team. Congratulations Erika, Sam and Dane! The Armada Robotics community is so proud of your dedication to scholarly excellence.

FRC Team 1718: The Fighting Pi showing up BIG this weekend at their District Event at Ferris State University! The team is currently ranked 2nd going into playoffs. This team has so much GRIT and they do not quit. They have been redesigning and making advancements to their robot since their last event in Marysville! They are RELENTLESS and we are so proud of the work they do on and off the field. Good Luck in playoffs and also with awards! GO PI! 💙🧡

Congrats to FRC Team 1718: The Fighting Pi seniors - Erika, Andrew, Sam & Dane on their 3rd place Quiz Bowl win! Armada hosted the Blue Water Quiz Bowl League last week welcoming 7 other teams to the event.

Armada Robotics is proud to announce the launch of our new scholarship program!

This year, we are pleased to offer four scholarships to Armada High School seniors involved in a robotics program. These scholarships recognize the dedication, leadership, and hard work these students have shown through robotics.

We are honored to support these students as they take the next step in their educational journeys. Our goal is to continue growing this scholarship program in the coming years so we can continue investing in the success of the students.

The AMS FTC teams are hosting an Open House tomorrow, Friday Feb 27th, at AMS from 5:30-6:30. Stop by with your current 5th-7th grade student and see what FTC is all about! You will also have the opportunity to talk to current team members, ask questions and tour the room.
