🏕️ PAL Camp Orientation is officially here! 💻🧡

Our 2026 Orientation Videos are now live to help campers AND families feel a little more ready for camp week — from the cabin placement process and packing tips to what to expect once you arrive at Center Lake.

Our biggest ask: Watch these with your camper. ♥️

Throw one on while you’re drinking your morning coffee, during dinner, or before bed together. These videos are designed to help ease nerves, answer questions, and build excitement for the best week of summer.

And as always — don’t hesitate to reach out to us with questions along the way. We know camp can feel like a big step, especially for newer families, and we’re here to help.

Our 6th Annual Armada PAL Golf Outing Fundraiser could not have landed on a more beautiful day this past Sunday.

We’re incredibly grateful for a community that continues to show up for a little fun, a lot of laughter, and a truly good cause. Every swing, sponsorship, raffle ticket, and conversation helps support opportunities for local kids through Armada PAL Camp.

A huge thank you to our golf committee — Austin, Sawyer, and Lindsey — members of our board who put in countless hours behind the scenes to make this event happen.

And thank you to EVERYONE who came out to play, volunteer, donate, sponsor a hole, or support the outing in any way. We truly could not do this without you.

Miss Shirley has been named Middle School Parapro of the Year! 🎉

We are beyond proud to celebrate someone who means so much to our PAL family 💙 Miss Shirley — our incredible Assistant Director — has dedicated decades of service to this organization, pouring her heart into generations of campers.

Her impact doesn’t stop at camp. Even after retiring from an amazing teaching career, she continues to show up for students in our own school district as a steady, positive force in their lives. And now, we get to celebrate her in an even BIGGER way!

This honor comes as no surprise to anyone who knows her. The care, patience, energy, and love she brings to every space she’s in is unmatched.

We are so lucky to have her leadership, her heart, and her example shaping our camp. And our campers? Even luckier.

Camp Planning Retreat: Start time was 9:00. Different staff arrival times, same goal — building something great together.

Somewhere between:
• “I’ve been here since 8 setting up chairs”
• “9:00 on the dot counts”
• and “wait… was that today?”

…and yet somehow, we still get it done.
