🎉🏈 Homecoming Weekend is Almost Here! 🚒💙

The ARMA Fire Auxiliary is excited to be part of this year’s Homecoming festivities, and we can’t wait to celebrate with our community!

👋 Be sure to watch for us as we ride alongside the Arma Fire Department in the Homecoming Parade. Give us a wave as we pass by!

💦 After the parade, stop by the festival and visit the Dunk Tank! You can find us near the inflatables, where the ARMA Fire Auxiliary will be helping run the booth.

We’re proud to support the dedicated men and women of the Arma Fire Department. Our nonprofit organization is made up of spouses, parents, grandparents and family members, who work together to help our firefighters and give back to our community.

❤️🚒 Our First Meeting Is Officially in the Books! 🚒❤️

I just want to say thank you to everyone who came out and supported the start of the Arma Fire Auxiliary. Seeing so many people willing to step up and help support our firefighters and our community was truly exciting, and I can’t wait to see what we accomplish together.

Tonight, we officially established our Auxiliary officers, and this is only the beginning! We have so many ideas and goals for the future, and we’re looking forward to building something our firefighters, their families, and our community can be proud of.

I also want to remind everyone that our Auxiliary isn’t just for spouses. We welcome all firefighter family members who want to be involved and support our department. Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, spouse, sibling, adult child, aunt, uncle, cousin, or another family member, we’d love to have you! At this time, membership is open to those 18 years of age and older, and we’re also happy to welcome the parents and grandparents of our Junior Firefighters.

If you weren’t able to attend our first meeting but are interested in joining, it’s not too late! Feel free to send us a message, and we’ll be happy to answer any questions and help you get signed up.

Thank you again to everyone who has supported us so far. This is just the beginning, and we’re excited for what’s ahead!

🚒 Today is the day! Arma Fire Auxiliary Sign-Up Meeting 🚒

We will be meeting today at 3:00 PM in the Arma Fire House Board Room for our Auxiliary membership sign-up!

This meeting will be an opportunity to learn what the Arma Fire Auxiliary is, how we will support our firefighters, and to get members signed up. This is not a planning meeting for events — we will have future meetings for that once membership is established.

Membership is open to:
❤️ Firefighter family members
❤️ Junior Firefighter parents and grandparents

Membership dues are $35 cash and will be collected at the meeting.

We are excited to start building a strong support system for the Arma Fire Department and look forward to seeing everyone interested in joining! 🚒❤️

Membership is currently open to:
• Immediate family members of current Arma Fire Department firefighters.
• Parents and grandparents of Junior Firefighters.

Please note: Boyfriends and girlfriends of Junior Firefighters are not eligible for membership at this time.

This meeting is not for planning events or fundraisers. The purpose of this meeting is to:
❤️ Introduce everyone to what the Arma Fire Auxiliary is and our mission.
📝 Sign up members and collect membership dues.
🤝 Meet one another and answer any questions.
🗳️ Discuss what comes next as we officially get the Auxiliary started.

The countdown is on! Our first official Arma Fire Auxiliary membership meeting is almost here!

A quick reminder: At this time, membership is open to firefighter family members only, including family members of our Junior Firefighters (parents and grandparents). ❤️🚒

If you are eligible and would like to join, please bring your $35 cash membership dues to the meeting. Once your paperwork is completed and dues are paid, you’ll officially become a member and be added to our members-only group.

We can’t wait to meet everyone and start building something great for our firefighters and our community!

Also, for those who have already reached out to me about needing a different time or date—don’t worry, I haven’t forgotten about you! A quick clarification (and an apology! 🤦🏼‍♀️😂)

Earlier this week, I accidentally shared what was intended to be our members-only Auxiliary group instead of our public page. 🤦🏼‍♀️ The mistake has since been corrected, and the group has been removed.

To help avoid any future confusion, after our August 1st membership meeting, anyone who has completed their membership paperwork and paid their membership dues will be added to our private members-only group. That group will be used for member communication, volunteer opportunities, meeting information, and other Auxiliary business.

Until then, this public page will be where we share announcements, events, fundraisers, and updates with our community.

Thank you all for your patience and understanding as we continue getting the Arma Fire Auxiliary organized and officially up and running. We appreciate your support and are excited for what’s ahead!

And yes… technology got the best of me this week. 😂 Thanks for sticking with us!
