We will be hosting a “Holiday Gift Shop” in the NICU this year. Families can visit our gift shop in mid-December to select gifts for their NICU baby, siblings, or other children in their lives. Making the NICU environment safer! We are excited to purchase a UV sanitizer for the MedStar Georgetown NICU as another way to protect NICU babies from harmful germs. Families and staff can now sanitize their phones, pens, jewelry etc. before entering the NICU thanks to our latest donation.

One of my favorite parts of the night was catching up with our past Juliet’s Gala Honorary Families. Five of the six families attended and one even flew in from Texas to be there! Seeing the smiles on their faces as they were recognized. Seeing those NICU grads laughing and dancing…thriving. It was so heartwarming. The NICU is a very special place that changes the lives of all who pass through the doors. Being able to make that experience a little less stressful and a little more comfortable is an honor that our foundation exists to provide. These are extraordinary families who deserve to be celebrated.
