We’re excited to start the ball rolling for Kayak North Day Camp 2026, and we are DINO-MITE excited to announce this summer’s theme! 🦖💥 This year we’ll be mixing dinosaurs with science explosions for a week full of fun and discovery.

We’re reaching out to everyone who helped with last summer’s day camp to see if you’d like to volunteer again this year or if you haven't volunteered at day camp and would like to so we can get started on planning. Volunteer for 1, 2, 3, or 4 days instead of the full week too. Our camp is located in Arlington.

Volunteer Perks
- Half-off camp for volunteers with campers $150 → $75 per camper.
- Boys Unit – $75 For boys entering Kindergarten–6th grade. They will participate as campers in all activities.
- Tagalongs Unit – $40 For children under 5 years old, with age-appropriate activities during camp.

We are looking to build our PA team. If you have scouts going into 7-12th grade for the 2025-2026 school that are interested in learning how to become a leader then being a day camp PA will help build those skills!

Exciting news! Kayak North Day Camp in Arlington is back! Day camp will be July 7-11, 2025 9-4pm at River Meadows County Park. Registration will open tomorrow for Campers.

More importantly we are currently on the look out to build our volunteer team. Camp can't happen without our lovely volunteers. We are looking for Unit Leaders and Activities Leaders for Archery (must be a certified archery instructor), Hiking, Songs/Games, Superhero Training (outdoor skills), camp photographer, Registrar, Teen Leader for PAs, and a Health Supervisor. One plus if you are a volunteer and have a scout attending camp they will get 50% off. If you want to volunteer fill out our volunteer form to sign up here
