Bring your gently worn or new athletic shoes to Montana Marathon Packet Pickup on Saturday, Sept. 19, and drop them in one of our collection bins.

The deadline is fast approaching to submit a bid to be an RRCA Regional Championship Race (October 1st).

The State Championship deadline is November 1st. Follow the link for more information and application.

Once submitted, the application is considered for both regional and state championships.

It’s been a super busy racing season(fun)and tourist (work) season! I’m finally still and in the mind for a recap of the RRCA Championship races for Montana thus far:

Montana’s first RRCA 2025 State Championship race was the Queen Bee Half Marathon In Billings, Montana.  I was able to get minimal pictures but had a really fun time helping hand out awards for the race.

The Heart and Sole 10K held in Billings was the next state championship race. Held on the Saturday before Father’s Day!
I was able to set up a booth and represent the RRCA at the health fair and helped to pass out awards.

I’m pleased to announce that the following races are chosen as 2025 Montana State Championship races:

June 1st, the Queen Bee Half Marathon
June 14th, The Heart and Sole 10k
July 19th, the Little Blackfoot 15k

We are thrilled to announce our Half Marathon distance has, for the fourth year in a row, been selected by the Road Runners of America (RRCA) as the State Championship Race!

RRCA Montana Championship Event Series is the largest grassroots-organized running series in the U.S. The goal of the RRCA Championship Event Series is to celebrate and shine a spotlight on well-run, community-focused events and to award their top performing runners.

The top age group winners in the Queen Bee Half Marathon division will be awarded additional medals compliments of the RRCA! 🥇
