Arlington Community Food Bank Hunger is not an issue of charity. It’s an issue of justice. “The Market” is open for shopping Mondays & Wednesdays 5-6:30pm and Fridays 12-1:30pm.

No ID required. Donations accepted Mondays-Fridays 9am-noon; Monday & Wednesday evenings 4-6pm at the rear of the warehouse.

Did you know...

🎉The Snack Shack opens today at 12PM for the summer season! 🍕🌭

Located at Haller Park, the Snack Shack is more than just a place to grab a snack on a sunny day, it's a place that plays an important role in supporting our mission of serving the community with dignity and compassion while fighting food insecurity. All proceeds from the Snack Shack go directly back to the food bank to help purchase food for our neighbors in need.

The Snack Shack also serves as a summer food resource for children who don't have access to school meals while school is out. Through our meal voucher program, local children and families can redeem vouchers for free meals at the Snack Shack throughout the season. ❤️

Whether you're stopping by for a cold drink, a homemade Naan bread pizza, or an ice cream, you're helping make a difference right here in our community.

The other day, we shared that our shelves were looking a little bare that we needed help and our incredible community responded.

Because of your generosity, we received donations of food that will help ensure our neighbors and families continue to have access to the resources they need. Every can, box, bag, and dollar donated makes a difference, and we are so grateful for the support.

To the ones that sent gift receipts, Michaela Brogan, Lori Merculief, and Christopher Heath in memory of Roy de Soto and to all of the donations that we received that didn't have gift receipts, thank you ❤️

The kindness and generosity from our community is what makes our work possible.

🌱It's that time of year again!

We are so excited to start seeing fresh produce coming in from our community garden over Andrew's Hay! This beautiful lettuce was harvested this week and is just the beginning of what we will hope will be a plentiful growing season!

We are incredibly grateful for the volunteers, gardeners, and community members who help make this possible. Fresh produce provides healthy options for our neighbors and makes a big difference for the families that we serve.

Today, we are sharing a photo of our warehouse because we believe in being transparent with the community that supports us.

Right now, our warehouse is looking much emptier than we would like. As the need for food assistance continues to grow, donations have slowed, which makes it increasingly difficult to keep up with the demand that we are seeing every week.

We understand that times are challenging for many families right now. Rising costs are affecting everyone, we know not everyone is in a position to give. However, if you are able, any support - whether it's a food donation, monetary donation, or simply sharing this post - can make a meaningful difference. 💙

Every can, every box of food, and every dollar donated helps us provide groceries to local individuals, families, seniors, veterans, and children who rely on our food bank.

We cannot do this alone. The Arlington community has always shown incredible generosity, and today, we are asking for that support once again. Together, we can ensure that no one in our community goes hungry.
