Aspire's CEO and Program Director recently presented our new Logic Curriculum at the mEducation Alliance's international Marvelous Education Symposium! Together with speakers from DC, Ghana, Sierra Leone, and Indonesia, they shared the global trends we're seeing in education today and ideas on how we can prepare our young people for a changing world.

Our CEO also spoke on a panel about volunteerism, the importance of representation within mentorship, and how we can create pathways for young people to become mentors.

We're honored to be part of these big conversations and to come together with so many other talented leaders as we work to help students navigate the world.

Last week, Aspire joined Alexandria Beyond the Classroom, Fairfax County Public Schools (Fairfax County Middle School After-School Program), and the Afterschool Alliance for an event hosted by Amazon. This event brought together afterschool leaders, local partners, and corporations to discuss the importance of afterschool support and its role in preparing the future workforce, as well as how the corporate sector can make an impact. Companies' support of afterschool programs helps ensure that working families choose to stay in this area, young people build skills that serve them later, and communities stay safe.
