Afghan Arts and Culture Festival The Afghan Arts and Culture Festival will take place on October 4, 2015 at Gateway Park in Arlington, Virginia.

The Annual Afghan Arts and Culture Festival attracts over 3,000 attendees to the Washington DC region to celebrate Afghanistan's rich culture. One of the largest Afghan-American events in the area, this FREE event serves to preserve, promote and increase knowledge of the Afghan culture and traditions within the general public. The festival provides an opportunity for cultural exchange, and embrace

ment of ethnic and cultural diversity. Come out to enjoy a day full of musical and dance performances, arts and crafts workshops, kite-making workshops, art exhibition, eating contest, a youth pageant, Afghan bazaar with jewelry and clothing vendors, and so much more!!
