Habitat DC-NOVA is building a region where everyone has a safe, decent place to live. We build and sell affordable homes, provide home repairs, offer financial education, and advocate for policies that create more housing for struggling families in the nation’s capital. With the help of public, private, nonprofit, and foundation partners, we partner with local families to break down the barriers of affordable homeownership and work towards building strong communities. Because when families have a stable place to call home, they can stop getting by and start to thrive.

Here's how it works: you contribute to a fund held by a financial organization, receive a tax benefit, and let your gift grow over time. When you're ready, you recommend a charity like Habitat DC NOVA, and the fund sends a grant on your behalf. 🏡
