📢 New Resource: Medicaid & Cochlear Implant Coverage

The American Cochlear Implant Alliance (ACI Alliance) has released a free Medicaid Advocacy Toolkit for cochlear implant users, families, healthcare professionals, and advocates.

The six-module toolkit provides information about Medicaid and cochlear implant care, including how Medicaid coverage works, upcoming policy changes that may affect coverage, billing and appeals, and resources for advocacy.

For Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals who use cochlear implants, continued access to care is important. Cochlear implant care doesn't end with surgery—it can involve ongoing follow-up and services throughout a person's life.
