⏰ Only a few days left! ⏰

We’re racing toward our $10,000 Mental Health Awareness Month goal and thanks to this incredible community, we’re already nearly halfway there! 💚

Every dollar raised helps provide affordable eating disorder therapy and support groups for individuals and families who otherwise may not be able to access care.

Right now, the need for mental health support continues to grow. More people than ever are reaching out for help, and your generosity ensures they don’t have to face recovery alone.

The good news? There’s still time to make a difference.

Make your gift before midnight on Sunday, May 31st and help us cross the finish line. Whether you give $10, $50, or $500, every contribution brings us one step closer to ensuring that healing remains accessible to everyone who needs it.

GLP-1 medications are everywhere right now — but conversations about how they may impact eating disorder recovery are often missing.

At Rock Recovery, we believe it’s important to have thoughtful, informed, and compassionate discussions around the growing pressure surrounding weight loss, body image, and GLP-1 usage.

That’s why we’re partnering with The Renfrew Center for a special free virtual CE training: Under Pressure: Eating Disorder Recovery in the Era of Ozempic.

Join us on June 11th as we explore:
• The impact of weight stigma
• ethical considerations surrounding GLP-1 usage
• How these medications can interfere with long-term recovery efforts
• How providers can better support individuals navigating recovery in today’s climate

What does eating disorder recovery really look like — and why does accessible mental health care matter so much? 💚

Rock Recovery Executive Director Christie Dondero Bettwy recently joined the Eating Disorder Spotlight podcast to share more about recovery, community, stigma, and the importance of making support accessible for everyone who needs it. ✨

We’re so grateful for opportunities like this to continue spreading awareness, hope, and honest conversations around eating disorders and mental health.

Long weekends are for slowing down, soaking up the sunshine, and being a little extra gentle with yourself. ✨

Whether that looks like taking mindful breaks, reaching out to a friend, making space for joy, or simply pausing for a few deep breaths — every small act of self-kindness matters.

Recovery isn’t about being perfect. It’s about caring for yourself, one moment at a time. 💚

Recovery conversations don’t end at a certain age — and neither does the need for support. 💚

This month on the Rock Recovery blog, we’re highlighting the often-overlooked experience of navigating eating disorder recovery in midlife. From changing relationships with body image to caregiving, aging, identity, and healing, this piece by Cecilia Perez-Zamora, LCPC offers insight, encouragement, and hope for those walking through recovery at any stage of life.

Sometimes the most healing thing you can hear is: “Me too.” 💚

Rock Recovery’s Breaking Bread Meal Support Group is designed to help individuals build more flexibility, confidence, and peace around food in a supportive community setting.

Group therapy can be a powerful reminder that you’re not alone in what you’re experiencing. Through shared meals, therapeutic support, and connection with others who “get it,” many participants find reduced isolation, increased accountability, and meaningful growth in recovery.

Breaking Bread may be a great fit if you’re looking for:
🍽 Support around meals and food flexibility
💬 Connection with others in recovery
💚 A compassionate, judgment-free space
🌱 Extra support alongside individual therapy
