The Savior Fulfills the Word

Jesus didn't simply teach God's Word. He fulfilled it.

Matthew repeatedly pointed his readers to the prophets, showing that Jesus is the promised Messiah. Quoting Isaiah, he revealed a Savior who would bring justice, show compassion to the broken, and offer hope to all nations.

A bruised reed He would not break. A smoldering wick He would not s***f out.

Jesus still meets people with that same mercy today. He restores the weary, strengthens the weak, and fulfills every promise of God.

🙏 Mercy is Personal 🙏
When Jesus told the man with the withered hand, "Stretch out your hand," everything changed. In a moment, what was broken was restored. Yet while one man rejoiced in God's mercy, others hardened their hearts against the Healer.
How often do we miss God's work because we're focused on rules, routines, or our own self-righteousness?
Today, let's ask the Lord to help us share His mercy through prayer, encouragement, and acts of kindness. Someone around you needs to know that God's love is personal and His mercy is still transforming lives.

The LORD of the Sabbath. The LORD of Mercy.

"For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath." (Matthew 12:8)

Jesus declared His authority over the Sabbath, revealing God's heart behind the Law. The Sabbath was given as a blessing, not a burden. Through Christ, we see the Father's mercy, compassion, and care for His people.

The Lord of the Sabbath is also the Lord of Mercy.

❤️ LOVE JESUS. DO MERCY. ❤️
"I desire mercy, not sacrifice." Matthew 12:7
Jesus didn't come to create more religious rules. He came to reveal God's heart.
Mercy is compassion in action. Mercy forgives. Mercy serves. Mercy loves. Mercy reflects Jesus.
The more we understand Christ's sacrifice for us, the more we are transformed to extend His grace to others.
Today, let your faith be known not simply by what you believe, but by the mercy you show.

Jesus Brings Rest, Mercy, and Life
The Pharisees saw rules. Jesus saw people.
When His disciples were hungry and picked grain on the Sabbath, Jesus reminded His critics that God's heart has always been mercy over legalism. He did not abolish God's law—He revealed its true purpose: to lead us into rest, compassion, and life.
Jesus still offers that same gift today: ✅ Rest for weary souls
✅ Mercy for those in need
✅ Life through a relationship with Him
There is no day when mercy is out of season. There is no burden too heavy for Christ to carry.
"The Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath." (Matthew 12:8)
Jesus Teaches: God's Law leads to rest, mercy, and life—not burdensome legalism.
