Members and friends of the Metro Washington, D.C. Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association. We Are one of the largest Penn State Alumni Chapters!

Our Chapter is organized exclusively to support the Penn State family of alumni, former students, current students, parents and families of students and alumni, and friends and fans that live in the Metro Washington DC area or are interested in our activities. Through this network, the Chapter endeavors to continue the Penn State experience for our local Alumni Chapter members. WE BRING PENN STATE TO YOU!!

Last night, Penn State hosted the monthly AI Exchange and networking event at the Refraction Innovation Hub in McLean, VA - a premier home to early-stage and tech startups and entrepreneurs.

Attendees were able to hear from five featured alumni speakers - Grant Crampton, Asher Carr, Scott Robertson, Melanie Treff, and Saadya Rao - about the evolution of AI and specifically how AI has impacted business operations, sales, and technology accessibility.

We also were thrilled to welcome representatives from Penn State Alumni Association Career Services (Holly Stoltzfus, Assistant Director) and Penn State College of IST Development (Missy Doherty, Assistant Director), who made the trip to down to DC to connect with our alumni, share alumni career alumni resources, and of course bring some much-needed Penn State swag!

The event was a huge success - garnering excellent feedback from the attendees and Refraction leadership - and we hope to have the opportunity to do it again in the near future!
