Today we pause. We remember. 🖤

Every third Friday of September, our nation observes National POW/MIA Recognition Day — a solemn day to honor those who wore the uniform and never came home, and those still unaccounted for. The black flag. The empty chair. The names etched in stone.

"You Are Not Forgotten."

That motto is more than a phrase. It is a promise kept by every family waiting, every veteran who served alongside them, and every community that refuses to let their sacrifice fade from memory.

At VetStarts, we serve the men and women who carry this legacy in their daily lives — not just today, but every single day. Our programs exist because of the brave ones who answered the call. For them. For their families. For all who choose life and press on.

Hooah. 🇺🇸

Share this today to honor a POW/MIA. Drop a 🖤 in the comments for those who never came home.

Today, VetStarts turns 12. 🎂

Twelve years ago, my dad — Army Major Vince Leone — started something at a kitchen table with nothing but belief and a whole lot of heart. We like to think he'd be pretty darn proud that something he started 12 years ago and continued after he was beamed up to heaven is still going strong.

And today, we're not just celebrating. We're building.

Raise the Roof is our campaign to finally give VetStarts a permanent home — land, a Warrior Art studio, coaching rooms, and a front door that says to every veteran: you belong here.

12 years of showing up for veterans. It's time someone showed up for us.

Link in bio to give. Every tier, from a $25 Sketch to a $25,000 Da Vinci, builds something real.

We are turning 12 on Monday. And we have something to tell you.

Stay tuned — Monday is a big day for VetStarts and for every veteran and family we've had the privilege of serving.

Something is coming. We think you're going to love it. 💙

Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen of the Allied Expeditionary Force!

You are about to embark upon the Great Crusade, toward which we have striven these many months. The eyes of the world are upon you. The hope and prayers of liberty-loving people everywhere march with you. In company with our brave Allies and brothers-in-arms on other Fronts, you will bring about the destruction of the German war machine, the elimination of N**i tyranny over the oppressed peoples of Europe, and security for ourselves in a free world.

Your task will not be an easy one. Your enemy is well trained, well equipped and battle-hardened. He will fight savagely.

But this is the year 1944! Much has happened since the N**i triumphs of 1940-41. The United Nations have inflicted upon the Germans great defeats, in open battle, man-to-man. Our air offensive has seriously reduced their strength in the air and their capacity to wage war on the ground. Our Home Fronts have given us an overwhelming superiority in weapons and mu*****ns of war, and placed at our disposal great reserves of trained fighting men. The tide has turned! The free men of the world are marching together to Victory!

Today we honor the Battle of Iwo Jima.

In 1945, more than 80,000 Sailors and Marines from the 3rd, 4th, and 5th Marine Divisions confronted a deeply entrenched enemy on volcanic rock for 36 days. Japanese forces raked the beaches with devastating fire, but the Marines pushed forward.

They seized the high ground of Mount Suribachi within days and, after a month of relentless combat, secured the island.

The image of the flag-raising on Mount Suribachi endures as a powerful symbol of American unity, sacrifice, and the unbreakable will of a Marine.

To the veterans of Iwo Jima and all who served: your courage and sacrifice are never forgotten. VetStarts stands with you. 🇺🇸
