The Medicines, Technologies, and Pharmaceutical Services (MTaPS) Program is proud to have partnered with Jordan's Ministry of Health (MOH) to assess infection prevention and control ( ) practices in >600 public and private dental clinics nationwide. By tailoring the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention ( ) IPC assessment tool to Jordan’s specific needs, MTaPS brought critical, real-time knowledge of IPC practices to Jordan's key public health decision makers.

The findings from this assessment are being used to enhance infection control standards in dental clinics and primary health care ( ) facilities across Jordan. These insights are directly informing the development of the National Infection Prevention and Control Policies and Procedures Manual for PHC facilities, a vital step in combating antimicrobial resistance ( ) and ensuring patient safety. ️All Family Planning Inventories in Bangladesh Now Online

MTaPS is proud to support the Directorate General of Family Planning (DGFP) in Bangladesh as it transitions its sub-district-level Upazila Inventory Management System (UIMS) to the DGFP eLMIS. This online system enables users to access real-time stock data, issue vouchers, and create, complete, and print supply plans—all through unique credentials.

To aid this transition, MTaPS facilitated six training sessions in the Chattogram division, engaging participants from six upazilas: Bandarban, Khagrachari, Rangamati, Cumilla, Brahmanbaria, and Chattogram. On the final day, DGFP senior officials, including the Director of Logistics and Supply Marzia Haque, observed the sessions. The Director appreciated MTaPS’ efforts to deliver effective technical training through both online and in-person methods.

This digital transformation represents a significant step toward strengthening health supply chain management in Bangladesh. Congratulations to DGFP and all involved!
