Mission accomplished! 🤖🐠
Watch Team Water Guys from Maple Ave Middle School in New York navigate the Mission Course with precision. You’ll see here they successfully released the Green Marker Float, Repaired the Damaged Support Beam, and Relocated Displaced Marine Life during their run.

Through the Storm Response theme, every task completed represents real-world challenges that underwater robotics can help solve in disaster response and environmental recovery.

Great work team!

Team Falcons from Los Fresnos High School in Texas successfully completed Task 4 of the mission course, retrieving a water sampler used to test for contamination following a flooding event. This challenge simulates a critical step in post-storm recovery efforts, where water quality must be evaluated before communities can safely return to normal activities. By completing this task, the team demonstrated how ROV technology can support real-world disaster response and recovery operations. 🐟🤖💧🧪

RoboNation is looking for reviewers to evaluate Technical Design Reports (TDRs) submitted by teams attending the 2026 International SeaPerch Challenge!

RoboNation is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide a pathway of hands-on educational experiences that empower students to find innovative solutions to global challenges by engaging them in interactive efforts and increasingly challenging activities. Help us continue to enrich our students’ learning and play a vital role in their positive experience by applying to be an online TDR judge!

For more information about this year’s challenge and how to apply, please email us at [email protected]!

Technical Design Reports are a required, scored component of the International SeaPerch Challenge. TDRs describe the intentional design process teams completed for their SeaPerch ROV. This report should provide judges with an understanding of the team’s unique SeaPerch design that will be used to compete in the SeaPerch pool courses and their approach to developing this design using a provided scoring rubric.

Application Process:
• This is a compensated contract position.
• To apply as a reviewer:
• Email [email protected] for a full list of information
• Complete a brief form.
• Review, score and provide feedback for a sample TDR.
• Application deadline is April 1, 2026.
• Selected reviewers will be notified by April 3, 2026.
