Nubian Youth Association We are a nonprofit organization committed to meeting the needs of Nubian youth in the Washington D.C. metro area and internationally. area.

The Nubian Youth Association will serve the under-represented youth population in the Washington D.C. Nia in Arabic means purpose, as an organization N.Y.A. will assist youth in finding their purpose in life, to help make the world a better place. Through social and educational programs we seek to educate the general public about Nubia and Nubians, as well as help Nubian youth grow through the implementation of these programs

The Temple of Dendur was built to honor two diefied sons of a Nubian Chieftan, but had to be relocated moved during the flooding of Nubian villiages during the building of the High Dam.
