Remember all those hands packing meals together? Those meals are on their way to the Philippines now, a country of more than 7,000 islands where typhoons, earthquakes, and volcanic eruptions are part of life. Families in rural areas, who depend on farming and fishing, feel those disasters most.
Through Rise Against Hunger, our meals will go to schools and training programs, where a good meal nourishes both body and learning, and helps people build skills and livelihoods that last.
Thank you to every volunteer who gave their time. You turned an afternoon of packing into real nourishment for families halfway around the world. And we'd love for you to join us in prayer this week.
