Dear Friends,
As we mark Giving Tuesday, we wanted to take a moment to reconnect and share a personal update. You may have noticed that we’ve been quieter than usual over the past few months. The truth is, we had to temporarily step back as this year has been one of the most difficult chapters in our ongoing journey to grow our family.
For over seven years, we’ve faced more than 10 failed IVF cycles, three miscarriages, and overwhelming medical expenses totaling well into the six figures. Then, earlier this year, just as we thought we’d finally achieved our dream, we experienced a traumatic pregnancy loss that required emergency surgery for Emma—a moment that shook us deeply and led us to pause and focus on healing.
We’re sharing this, not for sympathy, but because our story fuels our unwavering commitment to this cause. Despite all of the challenges, we remain steadfast in our mission to support military families navigating their own difficult roads of infertility. Operation Baby has already helped 33 families, and we’re determined to support even more through our next grant cycle, which will begin again in January.
