🎶 Calling all Musicians across New England: Name that Pit, Stage, or Performance Space 🎶

This spring, share a photo of your favorite pit, stage, or performance space for a chance to win $100 to help cover gas, travel, or another professional expense.

Why? Because getting to the gig is part of the gig, and lately, that hasn’t been cheap.

We’re looking for one photo of a pit, stage, or performance space anywhere in New England (CT, RI, NH, ME, VT, or MA). Your image can be:
• A view from the pit, stage, or performance space
• A shot of the space itself
• Your all-time favorite venue — or simply the one from last weekend

Selected photos may be featured in our social media and communications to spotlight freelance musicians and performance spaces across New England.

📅 Deadline: May 25, 2026
🎁 Winner will be selected at random and contacted by the end of May.

Complete the short form and upload your photo to enter! https://www.nemrf.org/musician-resources

A great teacher can change everything. We know this firsthand.

‘My high school band director’s extraordinary guidance and encouragement are a major reason so many students from my inner-city high school went on to become professional musicians. With deep gratitude, I’m giving a Teacher Appreciation Day shoutout to Loren Koppelman and the St. Paul Central Music Department.’ Hazel Dean Davis, Hornist and NEMRF Board Vice President

Music teachers don’t just teach. They perform, mentor, and build community.

Make a gift today in honor of a music teacher who made a difference in your life, and help us support the educators and musicians who keep New England’s music scene alive. When crisis hits, musicians deserve our support. Find a link in our bio to show your support.🎶

Patriot’s Day isn’t just about history. It’s about endurance. 🏃‍♂️
Showing up. Pushing through. Leaning on your community when it counts.

Boston Marathon runners have Heartbreak Hill.
Musicians have their own long miles: unexpected medical bills, injuries, lost gigs, damaged instruments.

Cheer at the finish line.
Help musicians crest theirs. 🎶

We didn’t snag a spot (yet!) as an official Boston Marathon charity partner, but we’re not sitting this one out.

There are so many ways to fundraise to support musicians who rely on NEMRF in times of crisis. Fundraise your way, such as:
🏃 Run the friendly (and informal) Paul Revere Half Marathon on April 11 (IG: )
🚶 Walk, ride, or race anywhere that moves you
🥁 Or, dream up something entirely your own, e.g., paradiddle marathon, mountain trek, backyard concert, or even a yard sale with flair.

However you show up, know that you’re helping support musicians who reach out to the New England Musicians Resource Fund for help. That’s music to our ears! 🎶

Need inspiration? We’ve got plenty waiting for you on our website or get in touch. Let’s make some noise AND some impact. https://www.nemrf.org/run-for-music
