As we close out 2024, we are reflecting on the progress we have made with our partners to strengthen health information systems (HIS) in 17 countries and 2 regions. This past year, we:
⏺️ Implemented 115 gender integration activities and included gender considerations in 2/3rds of our products and events. See why it matters: https://chisuprogram.org/news/blog/integrating-gender-perspective-foster-more-equitable-health-information-systems
⏺️ Conducted assessments in Burkina Faso and Serbia that demonstrated positive improvements in each country’s HIS progression and areas for continued focus. Learn about our repeat assessment using the HIS Stages of Continuous Improvement tool in Burkina Faso: https://chisuprogram.org/news/using-stages-continuous-improvement-soci-assessments-measure-burkina-fasos-his-progression
⏺️ Concluded our country program in Serbia, where we helped digitalize immunization records for the first time, and in Namibia, where we produced the National Health Statistical Report to help guide decision-making.
