👏Congrats Lori and Mary! Thank you Winston Industries for supporting SNA members!
Every year, Winston and the School Nutrition Foundation team up to help school meal programs get the equipment they need to serve students well. We're proud to announce the 2026 Winston Foodservice Equipment Grant recipients, who will receive up to $100,000 in equipment to support K12 kitchens across the country.
Congratulations to Lori Danella, SNS, Nutrition Director at Lee’s Summit R-7 School District in Missouri, recipient of a Winston Foodservice Equipment Grant worth up to $50,000.
"We take pride in our food service department, and having proper equipment plays a crucial role in ensuring high-quality meals are consistently available to nourish our students," said Danella.
We're also excited to recognize Mary Inzer, Director of Child Nutrition at Gadsden City Schools in Alabama, as the recipient of a Winston Foodservice Equipment Grant worth up to $50,000.
"Our students see school meals as a lifeline, and this grant helps ensure those meals are healthy and tasty. New food warmers will reduce burden and stress for staff trying to keep food safe and also help expand our menus and ensure smooth service of hot and fresh foods," said Inzer.
School nutrition teams do incredible work every day, and we're honored to support programs that are making a difference in their communities. Congratulations to both districts. We can't wait to see what you do next.
