The NASDA Foundation is proud to collaborate with the work of Nourish the Future!

The Nourish the Future Industry Reception in Wisconsin brought teachers and agricultural industry leaders together to build connections and strengthen agricultural literacy.

We’re grateful to be part of efforts that help educators equip the next generation with a better understanding of agriculture and its vital role in our everyday lives.

At the end of June, the National Agriculture in the Classroom Organization hosted its annual conference in Rhode Island, bringing together K–12 educators from across the country for networking, hands-on learning experiences, and workshops showcasing local agriculture. The NASDA Foundation was proud to sponsor Ayana Rodriguez of New Jersey and Jerry Citron of New York to attend, providing an opportunity to expand their knowledge, connect with peers, and engage with agricultural leaders, including Rhode Island Acting Chief Ananda Frazer Ramirez and Massachusetts Commissioner Ashley Randle. Investing in educators helps strengthen agricultural literacy and inspire the next generation of leaders.

At the end of May, the College Board, a proud partner of NASDA and the NASDA Foundation, hosted its premier Rural Education Exchange, bringing together K–12 educators, higher education partners, and organizations committed to expanding opportunities for rural students. We were proud to see former NASDA Next Generation participants and staff from state departments of agriculture participate in the "Elevating Rural Voices" panel, sharing their perspectives on the future of agricultural education and the importance of investing in the next generation of agricultural leaders. Thank you, College Board, for fostering this important conversation and for your continued commitment to rural education.
