Some people are concerned that reusables will spread
COVID-19, but according to over 125 health experts,
virologists, and epidemiologists, they are safe as long
as you wash them. 🧽

Simple as that.

The cleaning health standards already in place are
great at stopping the spread of COVID-19. So dont

Plastic contributes to climate change in every stage of its life. 🥤

Fossil fuels have to be extracted, refined, and transported. That all lead to direct emissions. Then it is manufactured into plastic. 🏭

After plastic is used and discarded, it can be recycled, landfilled, or incinerated, which all lead to greenhouse gases.

Landfills threaten soil, air, and water quality.

Recycling has adequate emissions and replaces new plastic, but less than ten percent of millions of tons of plastic are recycled in the US.

In the US, almost 60% of plastic is incinerated. It releases high greenhouse gases, heavy metals, sulfur dioxide, furans, highly toxic dioxins, and matter that might cause cancer. ⚠️

Our reusable takeout program is extremely easy to use.

All you do is sign up for Plastic Tree's service, we email a link to customers to down]oad the P]astic Tree app. 📱

Then you can order your food in reusable takeout containers from one of our participating restaurant vendors.

After you enjoy your meal in a reusable to-go box, place your box in a container outside for pickup or leave at a convenient drop-off location.

Maybe not, but we eat, drink, and breathe plastic all the time. 😲

Even right now!

Most of the plastic in the atmospheres of our houses comes from plastic fibers in carpets, clothes, and other things made of fabric. 👚

Over 80% of tap water samples in cities on five continents had plastic particles in them. Scientists even tested some people's stools and all of them had plastic in them. 💩

Makes you think, huh?
