Join us for a special Community Coffee Hour at The Arlington Common as we explore the fascinating story of Vermont marble — from ancient oceans to iconic buildings.

Local expert Mary Anne Holmes will share the geological history behind Vermont’s marble industry, while Bill Cotrofeld will display specimens from his extensive marble collection and discuss the unique characteristics and practical uses of the different varieties found here in Vermont.
