The New York State Society of Plastic Surgeons (NYSSPS) gathered in Albany this May for the 2024 NYSSPS Lobby Day. The group of leaders from NYSSPS (See Picture One) arrived energized and well-prepared for a packed day of meetings with leading policymakers from the New York State Senate and the New York State Assembly, to discuss and advance their support for key pieces of legislation like the Truth in Advertising Bill (S9214/A10009) and the Gold Card Bill (S2680-A/A859-A). This energizing day featured highly effective conversations with a plethora of lawmakers, including Senator Toby Ann Stavisky, Chair of the Senate Standing Committee on Higher Education (see Picture Two).

Founded in 2007, the Tribute Plan is an unrivaled financial benefit that rewards retiring doctors for their loyalty and dedication to superior patient care. It is the largest such benefit in the industry, and the highest individual award to date is $264,808.
