The finish line for the 2025-26 school year is upon us. End the school year with us on Thursday for Greenbrier Elementary's End of Year Bash & PTA FUNdraiser! (3-4 pm after school on Thursday), then Summer *Ice Cream* Dine Out - DQ - June 12 because the kids will miss each other by then ad you'll want something to do on a Friday night! 🍦🥤🍰

⛲️🍃🌸 Next up! Our Garden Committee would also like to thank the Arlington Heights Garden Club for their continued support and their contribution to Courtyard Sensory Garden funding through the Arlington Heights Youth Garden Grant. As grant recipients since 2023, the GB PTA Garden Committee has been able to develop the Sensory Garden more each year. This year, grant funds refreshed plants such as marigolds, basil, and rosemary. We also added beauty to 9 pots around the courtyard with a variety of flowers. Lastly, we added a new decorative wind spinner to engage the senses even more in the garden. Thank you again for your continued support, Arlington Heights Garden Club, and for helping us develop a beautiful garden for teachers and students to enjoy!

🐝🪴🪏 Our Garden Committee would like to express our sincerest THANK YOU to the Rotary Club of Arlington Heights and its District (6440) for providing additional funding to create a Pollinator Garden in our school courtyard. Funding went to the purchase of zinnia and cosmos seeds, bee water stations to keep our pollinators hydrated, and a wooden insect house. 🐛The zinnas and cosmos are already beginning to sprout! We look for to seeing this garden flourish, bringing even more beauty and pollinators to our courtyard for teachers and students to enjoy. Thank you again, Rotary Club of Arlington Heights and its District (6440)! 🌻

Our community is as strong as it is because of our fantastic volunteers.

During the year we have movie nights, donuts with grownups, staff appreciation week, chances to celebrate all our students, and more.

Volunteering can range from an annual term, down to micro volunteering (healthy kids night!) so we have something for everyone and our students *love* when their familiar faces are with us during our events.

Have an idea for something new we could do as a GB community? All of these things wouldn't happen without YOU!! Yes, YOU!!!! We need your help. Let us know if you're interested in being a co-chair for any of these events.
