Greetings, Classmates: The Class of ‘83 has opened their 40th Reunion Friday night (10/13 7:00-11:00) to all AHS & Dist 214 alumni!
There w/b a bus making the rounds all night, starting @ Eddie’s @ 7:00 then Jimmy D’s, Cortland’s/Peggy’s & The American Legion. Though $15 bus tickets were originally required, you may simply tip the bus when boarding.
In light of Covid killing our 40th, this is a great oppty to gather with fellow AHS grads of our vintage to share memories and renew acquaintances. See you there!

Frontier Days has the major entertainment lineup on their front page! All start at 8:00 PM (except as noted).
Thurs. June 30: 7th Heaven
Fri. July 1: Ace Frehley of Kiss
Sat. July 2: Jason Scheff (longtime lead vocalist/bassist of Chicago)
Sun. July 3: Steve Augeri, Journey former lead vocalist
Mon. July 4, 7:30 PM: American English
If you’re in town and plan to attend, let us know. You never know who will show up!

Hi it’s Jane, and I’m sorry I haven’t been posting much lately (besides obituaries - please stay healthy!). For those who have not heard, The Reunion Committee made the difficult decision to postpone our 40th reunion this year due to Covid. With the surge of mutations and variants, we probably made the right decision.

We will narrow down the date later this year - thank you for your patience!

It is with a very sad heart that I share that our classmate, Theresa Sobyra, passed away. A memorial service is planned at St Edna Catholic Church in Arlington Heights. I will post more when I have additional information.
