Meet Lucy! Lucy is a 3 year old hound mix who weighs about 45 pounds. Lucy is one of the sweetest dogs on the planet and is always so happy to see the volunteers. So much so that she wiggles around until someone goes in and pets her! She loves going for walks and getting belly rubs. She has a loving and loyal disposition. Lucy is a wonderful girl who just needs someone to come adopt her! If you’d like to meet Lucy, give us a call or stop by during open hours. She would love to meet you!

Our shelter fundraiser Paws in the Park is coming up on September 13, 2026 at Melas Park at 9 AM. We have over 30 raffle prizes. We are doing a paper towel drive again this year. For every six pack of paper towel you bring to the event you get two raffle tickets.  Hopefully we will see you there.
