Governors mask mandate on our kids is suspended! The fights not over but this is some great news for families across the state.

The school mask mandate for Illinois schools has effectively been suspended -- for now. On Tuesday, the Joint Committee on Administrative Rules (JCAR) voted against extending the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) emergency rule on school mask mandates. Even California is done with their mask mandates! Is the Illinois Governor trying to be the last state in the nation for mask mandates? Call Governor Pritzker at 217-782-6830 and tell him to drop the mandates!

California's indoor masking requirement will end next week for vaccinated people but masks still are the rule for schoolchildren. However, local health officials can continue their own requirements.
