Our Story
Like the location of the building, the Arlee Brown Building serves as the center of the community. Even when the building wasn’t actually brown it was still called the Brown Building and later called the Arlee Community Center or Arlee Clubhouse. The building has served the community in many capacities through the years and presently is used for community activities such as memorials, funerals and benefits. The building has been rented for baby showers, Christmas parties, birthday parties, yoga class, meetings, proms, dances, weddings and school functions. The possibilities are unlimited. The Jocko Valley Library is located in the basement of the Brown Building as well.
Building is available to rent for activities such as meetings, weddings, receptions, funerals, etc. Rates are $25 per hour up to 4 hours; $150 for the whole day. A $150 cleaning deposit is required which is returned if the building is cleaned after the event. Non-profit organizations pay half price. Use of the building for funerals, benefits and memorials is free.
