“When we began fostering in 2018, I knew we would grow attached to the children placed in our home but I never realized just how deep that love could be. It’s a love that runs through you, a love for the children that naturally overflows to their families. We are blessed to still be part of many of those families’ lives today. Though we can’t erase the hard chapters these children face, we can offer love, stability, and faith — trusting that Jesus fills the gaps with grace. He calls us to step in, to be a support system for children and families whenever possible, and to help break cycles with His love at the center.

Our biological children now see life through a different lens, growing even more kind, empathetic, and sensitive to the needs of others. Over the years, our family has grown to include those who once didn’t have one: a bonus teen daughter we adore as our own, two adopted half-sisters, and a baby boy who joined us from his very first day of life.

From the outside, people may notice our differences, even in race, but what shines brightest is the love that binds us together and makes us a family.”

Stories like the Garcia Family’s show the tangible and eternal impact of saying “Yes” to a child in need. Local families, volunteers, and donors help make these stories possible, sharing the love of Jesus with children and families who need it most. Give today: https://bit.ly/3UtAR21L727

Yesterday was one of those “only God” moments.

These two awesome young men stopped by with their mom to pick up a Christmas basket—once a foster family, now an adoptive one through The CALL. 💙

The desk had been sitting in the floor in the box for a few weeks (thanks to some awesome donors), and I’d been praying for God to send someone with the time and ability to put it together. And just like that… He did exactly that! Desk assembled.

God is so faithful in the big things and the little details and it's important to give Him glory for all of them. When we wait on Him, He truly provides—sometimes with an Allen wrench and a smile. 😊

So grateful for this family and the reminder of God’s perfect timing.

💛 Every visit matters.

When children in foster care spend time with their biological families at a CALL Support Center, the little things help create a warm and welcoming environment.

A gift of $100 provides snacks, games, and supplies that make these visits meaningful and help families connect in a safe space.

Your generosity meets a tangible need today and creates an eternal impact as families experience love and hope.

Socks might seem simple, but to a child entering care, they’re comfort, dignity, and something brand-new of their very own. 🧦💛

Thank you, First United Methodist Church of Arkadelphia, for providing such a generous supply for our kids. Your kindness matters.

“For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen.” Romans 11:36

This verse holds a special place in the Erisman family. It reminds us that all children come from Him and through Him we are given the grace to love, care for, and provide for them, whether biological, adopted, or fostered. And ultimately, all the glory belongs to Him.

Over six years, the Erismans had the privilege of loving and caring for several little ones placed in their home. They experienced the heartache of saying goodbye and witnessed the beauty of redemption as families were restored. They also saw the goodness of God in the adoption of two precious babies who no longer had a mother or father able to care for them.

Foster care forever changed their family for the better. As Jason Johnson says, “In the end, it’s the mercy of God that He doesn’t show us everything that will unfold in the foster care and adoption journey the moment we first say yes to it. All the hard would be too unbearable and all the good would be too unbelievable.”

Stories like the Erismans’ show the tangible and eternal impact of saying “Yes” to a child in need. Local families, volunteers, and donors help make these stories possible, sharing the love of Jesus with children who need it most. Give today: https://bit.ly/3UtAR21

When Fellowship Church asked how they could serve, they meant it — and they showed up with happy hearts and ready hands. 💛

In just one hour, five volunteers prepared FOUR freezer meals for families walking through transitions and challenges. What a gift of time, care, and compassion.

We’re so thankful for this team and the love they poured into our mission.

Looking for ways to teach generosity this holiday season?
Here are 4 kid-friendly ideas to make year-end giving meaningful for the whole family while blessing children in foster care.

1️⃣ Family Giving Budget – Give your kids a set budget and let them choose how to give. Deliver the gift together to connect giving with impact.
2️⃣ Honor Someone You Love – Instead of more “stuff,” make a gift in honor of a family member and let your kids help create a card to share the news.
3️⃣ Countdown Challenge – Set aside a small amount each day or week in December. Kids can decorate a jar or track the challenge, then give it all at year’s end.
4️⃣ Group or Employer Match – Invite your kids to help rally friends, cousins, or even your workplace to give together and multiply the impact.

💛 These simple steps turn holiday giving into a family tradition of generosity. Every gift helps support local families with an eternal impact.

👉 Swipe through for details and start a new tradition with us this season!

At The CALL we believe that ordinary people can meet extraordinary needs.

Local families open their homes to children who need safety and love. Volunteers step in with meals, mentoring, and support. Donors provide the resources that make all of this possible. These are the tangible needs that build stability and hope for children in foster care.

But the story does not stop there. Every act of care is also an opportunity to share the love of Jesus with children and families who need it most. That love has an eternal impact that reaches far beyond today.

Year-end giving is especially important. Your gift in this season strengthens foster families, equips volunteers, and ensures that children entering care in the new year will be met with love and support. When you give now, you help us start strong and continue making an eternal difference in 2026.

This season we invite you to join us in making a difference right here at home. Together we can support local families and create an eternal impact. Give a year end gift today: thecalllinarkansas.org/donate
