It's always exciting when we can have a Ribbon Cutting and welcome a new business to Arizona City, and today was no exception. The weather was perfect and the Pinal County Fire and Medical Authority showed up with 2 Fire Trucks which added to the event. Refreshments and several free giveaways were available to everyone.. We wish Kenneth Kousiakis lots of success with Farmers Insurance. Once again, please support our local businesses and let them know you are glad they are here.

It was fun and informative meeting last night at the Veterans of Arizona City Meeting. First we got an update on the Fire Department and their recent change. A shout out was also given for the Arizona Rangers for their service and how well they work with the Fire District and the Sheriff's Office

Our first speaker, Supervisor Jeff McClure, gave us some updates for the County and Arizona City.

Our second speaker, Sheriff Ross Teeple, gave us some interesting facts regarding some positive changes that they are trying to have take place for the Veterans and gave out some safety devices to the audience.

State Representative Teresa Martinez was in attendance but as a spectator. Everyone had a good time.

A Huge Thank You to Greta Edwards and Teresa Riggs with Casa Grande Alliance for being our guest speakers today. This is an amazing organization that serves our community in so many different areas. They did a great job of describing some of their services plus we all learned some medical procedures and we were given handouts.

As always the Tumbleweed Inn did a fantastic job of hosting our luncheon. We had more than we could eat and it was delicious. We appreciate their long time support.
