Calling all boys AND girls entering grades K-5 for the 2024-2025 school year! We are excited to share all of the fun stuff we have planned for the year!

💙 Pack 192 is getting ready to kick off the school year with yet again another great year of scouting, but first some more summer fun of hiking club, fishing club, a parade, sporting events, movie night, and so much more!

💙 We're trying something new this summer and hosting an outdoor movie! This will be held in Harvest at the Front Porch, which is right next to Argyle West, on Friday July 19! The movie will start at 8:30 PM. We're encouraging all current scouts to bring a buddy for a buddy comedy as well as having any potential scouts for the 2024-2025 school year stop by to say hello to our cubmaster and some of our den leaders. Bring a snack and a lawn chair, and meet us at the Front Porch for some scouting fun. The movie will be announced as we get closer to movie night!

We’re all about encouraging children to make friends, be helpful to others, and do their very best no matter the outcome. With the help of powerful learning projects and exciting outdoor activities, we aim to teach children that doing their best can be a fun and rewarding experience—no matter the difficulty of the challenge!

LIONS (Kindergartners) The Lion rank is earned by completing five adventures as described below. Although participation with an adult partner is required for all Lion awards, recognition items are for the Scouts only.
1. Complete the five required adventures:
Lion’s Honor
Animal Kingdom
Fun on the Run!
King of the Jungle
Mountain lion

TIGERS (1st graders) The Tiger rank is earned by completing the four requirements below. Although participation with an adult partner is required for all Tiger awards, recognition items are for the Scouts only.
1. Complete each of the six required adventures:
Games Tigers Play
My Tiger Jungle
Team Tiger
Tiger Bites
Tiger Circles: Duty to God
Tigers in the Wild
1 elective adventure

WOLF (2nd graders) The Wolf rank is earned by completing the four requirements described below.

Howling at the Moon
Paws on the Path
Running With the Pack
1 elective adventure

BEAR (3rd graders) The Bear rank is earned by completing the four requirements as described below.
1. Complete each of the six required adventures:
Baloo the Builder
Bear Claws
Bear Necessities
Fellowship and Duty to God
Fur, Feathers, and Ferns
Paws for Action (Duty to Country)
1 elective adventure

WEBELOS (4th graders) The Webelos rank is earned by completing the five requirements described below. Scouts who are in Cub Scouts in fourth grade must complete the Webelos rank before working towards the Arrow of Light.
1. Be an active member of your Webelos den for three months.
2. Complete each of the five required adventures:
Cast Iron Chef
Duty to God and You
First Responder
Stronger, Faster, Higher
Webelos Walkabout
1 elective requirement

ARROW OF LIGHT (5th graders) work toward the Arrow of Light rank. The Arrow of Light rank is earned by completing the five requirements described below.
1. Be an active member of your Webelos den for at least six months since completing the fourth grade or for at least six months since becoming 10 years old.
2. Complete each of the four required adventures:
Building a Better World
Duty to God in Action
Outdoor Adventurer
Scouting Adventure
1 elective adventure

RAINGUTTER REGATTA

When: Saturday July 29, 2023
9:00 AM to 10:30 AM
Where: Aberdeen Boulevard Pavilion

Has your family been considering joining cub scouts?
Now is the time to come hang out with us to see if it is the right fit for your future scout and family!
Come join us for our yearly raingutter regatta!
Our summer hang outs continue with a summer edition of the raingutter regatta! Test your maker skills by building the best sailing vessel you can using nothing but recycled materials and things from around your house. Race your boats against other scouts for fun and for the title of Regatta champion.
Prizes will be awarded for the most seaworthy and creative vessels.
A scout is thrifty - be resourceful and bring supplies that you already have at home and build your boat at the regatta. We will also bring a tub of supplies you can use.
Popsicles and waters will be available to help everyone cool off!
