On this day 5-16-2026 Montrose Fire Rescue and Des moines township fire held their monthly joint training session.
Today's task was pump and draft operations. Gave the younger ones on each department a chance to learn and gave the senior members a chance to brush up and also learn different techniques.

On this day 4-13-26 Des Moines twp fire and rescue with Montrose Fire Rescue held our monthly joint training on scba confidence, locating multiple victims, thermal imaging camera and radio communication.

On this day 3-29-26 des moines township fire and rescue along with Montrose Fire Rescue assisted a landowner with a controlled burn.
Was a great day to get equipment exercised and personal familiar with the scenario.
Glad to help out the community.
