We are leaving, and the sparrows are moving in! This is the final week of classes at the Academy, as I will be moving out of state to spend time with family. Over the last three and a half years, the DRA’s Board of Directors and I worked hard to build something meaningful, and we sincerely hope the Academy has made a positive difference for families.
We are deeply grateful to our donors, the Argyle-Apple Grove Lutheran Church, and to every family who trusted us with their children and encouraged this program. It has been a privilege to be part of your children’s learning journeys and to watch their skills grow over time.
Watching the sparrows settle in reminds me that endings are beginnings, too. As one chapter closes, another quietly begins — for the birds, for our family, and for all of the students who will carry forward the growth, confidence, and learning they found here. Lynn

With heartfelt gratitude, we thank Dan Harrigan as his term on the DRA Board of Directors comes to a close. Dan’s leadership, generosity of time, and steady support have helped shape the Academy in meaningful ways, and his presence on the board will be truly missed.

We are thrilled to welcome Eva Denny as his successor. A board member since our founding in January 2023, Eva brings passion, dedication, and a deep commitment to her community to everything she does. The Academy is incredibly fortunate to continue benefiting from her leadership.

Thank you, Dan, for your lasting impact—and welcome, Eva! We’re so glad to have you with us.
