An Important Update about Ardsley Family Day 2026 -
It is with heavy hearts that we share that Ardsley Family Day has been canceled this year.
This was not an easy decision. Ardsley Family Day has always been about bringing our community together - families, neighbors, local businesses, organizations, volunteers, and friends - for a day of fun, food, activities, and time together. It is a tradition that we truly value, and we know many families look forward to it each year.
Unfortunately, the cost of putting on an event of this size has continued to increase. This year, the cost would have been over $10,000, and that does not include insurance and many of the other expenses that come with organizing this event. At the same time, we have not had enough volunteers to make the event possible.
After a lot of thought, we decided that rather than continuing to try to hold Family Day every year without the financial and volunteer support needed, we need to take a step back and make the event more sustainable.
Moving forward, we are planning to hold Ardsley Family Day every two years instead of every year. This will give us more time to fundraise, find sponsors, build our volunteer base, and plan an event that our community can continue to enjoy for years to come.
And this is where we need your help!
If you love Ardsley Family Day and want to see this tradition continue, please consider getting involved. Donations, sponsorships, and volunteers are what make an event like this possible. Whether you can give financially, volunteer your time, help connect us with a local business, or simply share our message with others, every bit of support makes a difference.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported Ardsley Family Day over the years, our volunteers, sponsors, vendors, community organizations, and everyone who has come out to enjoy the day.
We are not giving up on Family Day. We are taking the steps we need to make sure it can continue in a way that is financially and logistically sustainable.
Thank you for your understanding and for continuing to support our community!
