Between good friends, good food, and horse shoe ornaments Iโ€™d say these kids finished out this year with a bang! The lessons they have learned throughout the year and friends they have made along the way has had such a positive impact on our members. We would like to thank our Horse Club leaders, Jk Versatility Performance Horses, all of the amazing guest that have come to teach our kids, and lastly all the parents that have come together to help make this Club such an amazing experience! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! We cannot wait to see each and everyone of you next year!

We would like to thank Farrier Shawn Walker and JG Marshall for coming out to teach our kids on hoof care/maintenance and roping! The knowledge and lessons they provided to our group is more than we could have asked for. We would also like to thank Supreme Western Products in Madill for gifting our members with their very own ropes.

It was a cold and windy night but the kids enjoyed participating in the Parade of Lights! This was their first parade to participate in as a group! Most had never ridden horse back in a parade before and they all did such a great job!!! Iโ€™m sure this is just the beginning for parades. They enjoyed having Homer Boren and Jeri Davidson joining them in the parade! Thank you for riding with them! Would also like to thank Ernie and Janice Marshall for driving the Clover buds in their beautiful truck! A BIG thank you to the Horse Riding Club leaders and Missy for all your hard work you put in for these kids! Thank you to the wonderful parents for helping during the parade with kids and their horses!!

Today the kids did a fantastic job working together to learn and teach one another about the different colors of horses.
They started off with a scavenger hunt to find a specific color of horse and then each child gave a short speech in front of the group about the horse they found. Learning to speak in front of a large group is difficult for most, and we hope that the skills we try to instill in this group will carry them far in life. Their future looks bright and to say that we are proud of these kids is an understatement!

The kids enjoyed a field trip to Supreme Western Products in Madill. They saw different types of ropes being made and learned what they are used for. Also they learned about different types of saddles and leathers. They enjoyed a scavenger hunt through the store. Each child had to find two products and tell about them. Everyone learned a lot about different products! Thank you to Benny Sr. and Benny Jr. for the tour of Supreme Western Products and all the goodies!! Also thanks to the wonderful leaders for organizing the field trip!!
