Hi, it's Garvin County Prevention Coordinators, Jessica Kindt and Chelsey Stevenson. The 2025 prom season will be here before we know it! Last year, we were a part of Carter County's "Operation Prom" campaign success (pictured below), and we would like to bring this campaign to ALL of Garvin County!

It is 100% FREE to participate in, and we provide ALL prevention materials!

If your business would like more information on how you can partner with us during our "Operation Prom" campaign for FREE, which encourages our high schoolers in Garvin County to remember that you don't have to drink or get high to have a good time, please let us know by commenting below, messaging us, or emailing your business name and contact info to [email protected]. We will be in contact!

Parents, if your teen would like to be one of our youth volunteers, please reach out to us as well! We can provide you and your teen with FREE materials and ideas on how to help us encourage a substance-free prom!

Do you have expired or unused medications in your home? Drop them off at the Carter Count Prescription Drug Take Back Event on June 3rd from 9am to 12pm at the Ardmore Depot Park. This Rx Take Back Event is a part of the Carter County Healthy Living Extravaganza!

Join the Carter County Healthy Living Coalition (CCHLC), the TSET Healthy Living Program serving Carter County, and Ardmore Main Street Authority on June 3, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, at the Ardmore Depot Park for the 2nd Annual Carter County Healthy Living Extravaganza!

This free event will include:

Light Healthy Refreshments
Bounce Houses
Face Painting
Raffle Prizes
Physical Activity Demonstrations (@ 9:00 am and 10:00 am - By the YMCA, Dot Foods, and All Day Performance, LLC. )
A Gardening Demonstration (By the Master Gardeners @ 9:30 am)
A Cooking Demonstration (By Get Fresh! @ 10:30 am)
A Scavenger Hunt

There will be multiple vendors available to provide area resources to the community. Do not miss out on the fun!
